Penile Rejuvenation with PRP in Chicago
- Platelet-rich plasma from your own blood
- Non-surgical
- In-office in 45 to 60 minutes
- Board-certified surgeon
XPand Restore™ uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) drawn from your own blood to support sensation, tissue health, and erectile function. A small blood sample is drawn, concentrated to isolate the platelets, and injected into the penis. The growth factors in PRP stimulate tissue repair and new blood vessel formation. The treatment is non-surgical, takes 45 to 60 minutes in our Chicago office with topical numbing, and most men return to normal activity the same day. Dr. Marc Adajar, a board-certified surgeon (FACS) with over 20 years of experience, performs every treatment. PRP for sexual function is regenerative, not a guaranteed cure, and we will tell you directly what it can and cannot do for your situation.
- Board-certified surgeon, 20+ years
- Specializes exclusively in men
- Patients' Choice Award, 9 consecutive years
- Topical numbing only, immediately reversible
What Does XPand Restore Actually Do?
XPand Restore uses platelet-rich plasma from your own blood.
PRP is a concentrate made from a small sample of your blood. It is rich in growth factors that your body already uses to repair tissue. A blood draw, similar to routine lab work, is processed in a centrifuge to isolate and concentrate the platelets. That PRP is then injected into specific areas of the penis. Because the material comes from your own body, an allergic reaction is extremely unlikely.
The growth factors stimulate tissue repair and blood vessel formation.
PRP promotes new blood vessel formation and tissue repair, so blood moves more efficiently through penile tissue. This is the mechanism behind the changes some men notice in sensation and firmness. It works with your own healing process rather than introducing a foreign material.
It supports sensation, tissue health, and erectile function.
XPand Restore is a regenerative treatment, not a structural one. It is designed to support sensation, tissue health, and erectile function. Men with mild to moderate erectile changes may benefit, especially when XPand Restore is combined with XPand Flow™ for blood flow. It is not a size procedure, and it is not a guaranteed cure for erectile dysfunction.
Results develop gradually, not overnight.
You will not see an immediate change. Some men notice improvement within two to four weeks, and the full effect builds over the following two to three months as tissue repair and new blood vessel growth continue. Some men choose a series of treatments for a cumulative effect.
XPand Restore is XSculpt's customized approach to penile PRP, and Dr. Adajar's certification for the procedure comes directly from Dr. Charles Runels, the physician who developed it.
Individual results may vary.
Is XPand Restore Safe?
XPand Restore has a strong safety profile because it uses your own blood. There is no synthetic filler and no foreign material, which means the risk of an allergic reaction is extremely low. The treatment is performed in a controlled clinical setting by a board-certified surgeon, not a technician who added it to a service menu.
Dr. Marc Adajar, MD, FACS, performs every XPand Restore treatment at XPand MD™. He is a board-certified surgeon with over 20 years of experience who specializes exclusively in men. His practice covers the full scope of male body contouring, sexual wellness, and performance optimization, including surgical procedures, penile enhancement, and testosterone replacement therapy. He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and holds additional certification in anti-aging medicine. That means a surgeon trained and tested to operate in a hospital is doing your treatment, not a general injector. He has also completed specialized training and certification in male genital enhancement techniques, including penile filler injection (XPand Girth™), platelet-rich plasma therapy for penile rejuvenation (XPand Restore), and scrotal neuromodulator therapy (XPand Smooth™). He has received the Patients' Choice Award for nine consecutive years.
Be honest with yourself about what the evidence supports. PRP for sexual function is regenerative therapy, and the results vary from man to man. Some men notice improvement in sensation or firmness; some notice less. Any clinic that promises a fixed result from PRP is overstating what the science supports. Dr. Adajar gives you a direct assessment of what XPand Restore can and cannot do for your specific situation before you commit to anything.

Who Is a Good Candidate for XPand Restore?
XPand Restore is a good fit for men who want to support sensation, tissue health, or erectile function without surgery or medication. Most men who research PRP for penile rejuvenation have been reading about it for a while before reaching out. That research is time well spent. It means you already understand what the treatment does and does not do.
Good candidates share a few things in common:
Realistic expectations. This is regenerative therapy, not a guaranteed cure and not a size procedure. Men who come in understanding that tend to be the most satisfied.
A specific goal. Supporting sensation, tissue health, or erectile function. Men with mild to moderate erectile changes may benefit, especially when XPand Restore is combined with XPand Flow.
Stable general health. No active infection in the treatment area and no bleeding disorder that cannot be managed.
Recovery from another XPand procedure. Men recovering from filler or another XPand treatment who want to support healing may also be candidates.
Some situations need a closer look first. Men with active blood disorders, platelet dysfunction, or medical conditions that affect healing may not be candidates, and your provider confirms candidacy at consultation. Significant erectile dysfunction should be worked up for its underlying cause. That does not automatically rule you out, but it requires a detailed evaluation.
If you are uncertain whether you fit, that is what the consultation is for. Dr. Adajar reviews your health history and goals to determine your specific candidacy. There is no obligation and no pressure to schedule the same day. He will tell you directly if XPand Restore, another option in the XPand Protocol™, or a different approach is the right fit, rather than sell you a treatment that does not match your situation.
What Happens During the Procedure?
The entire process takes about 45 to 60 minutes in the office, including consultation, blood draw, PRP processing, numbing, and injection. There is no general anesthesia, no operating room, and no overnight stay. Here is what to expect, step by step.
Step 1: Consultation and numbing
Dr. Adajar reviews your goals and what is going on, confirms your plan, and applies a topical numbing cream to the treatment area. A local anesthetic is used if needed. You stay awake and alert the entire time.
Step 2: Blood draw
A small blood sample is drawn from your arm, similar to routine lab work.
Step 3: Processing
The blood is spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets into PRP.
Step 4: Injection
The PRP is injected into specific areas of the penis using a very fine needle. Most men describe only mild pressure.
Step 5: You leave
There are no stitches, no drains, and no bandages. You walk out the same way you walked in.
How much it hurts
Pain is the most common concern men raise before booking. The procedure is well tolerated. The numbing handles most of the discomfort, and most men describe the sensation as mild pressure rather than sharp pain.
Recovery
Most men return to normal activity the same day, including work, and many can resume sexual activity right away. You may notice temporary swelling, bruising, or tenderness, which typically resolves within a few days. There is no bed rest and no general anesthesia recovery to manage.
The procedure is performed at the River North office in Chicago. No one in the waiting room knows why you are there.
Individual results may vary.
What Results Can You Realistically Expect?
Results develop gradually as the tissue regenerates. Some men notice improvement in sensation or firmness within two to four weeks, and the full effect builds over the following two to three months as tissue repair and new blood vessel growth continue. This is not an instant result, and the changes build over time rather than appearing all at once.
Because PRP promotes new blood vessel formation and tissue repair, blood moves more efficiently through penile tissue, which can support firmer, more reliable erections. The effect is strongest for men with mild to moderate erectile changes, and stronger still when XPand Restore is combined with XPand Flow.
Be realistic about the range of outcomes. PRP for sexual function is regenerative therapy, and results vary from man to man. Some men notice a clear change; some notice less. Dr. Adajar sets specific expectations during your consultation based on your situation, not general promises. We do not show before and after photos for this procedure, given its sensitivity, and we respect that patients do not want their images published.
Some men choose a series of treatments for a cumulative effect. Whether that fits your goals is something Dr. Adajar discusses at consultation.
Individual results may vary.
How Much Does XPand Restore Cost in Chicago?
We publish the price because you should have it before you walk in the door, not behind a consultation wall.
A series of treatments may be recommended depending on your goals. Many men choose maintenance treatments every 6 to 12 months to keep results going, and some do a short series early on for a cumulative effect. Dr. Adajar discusses whether a single treatment or a series makes sense for you at consultation.
What the price covers. Your fee includes the consultation with Dr. Adajar, the blood draw and PRP processing, the treatment itself, and your follow-up visit. You are awake the entire time in a private treatment room.
XPand Restore is also available as part of the XPand Performance Collection™, which bundles XPand Flow, XPand Restore, and XPand Smooth for men who want to address function, sensation, and comfort together.
We do not run discount promotions on this treatment. If a clinic is racing you to the lowest price on a genital procedure, that is a reason to slow down, not speed up. You are paying for a board-certified surgeon and a sterile clinical setting. Financing options can be discussed at consultation. See our full pricing breakdown for all XPand services.
How Long Do Results Last, and What About Maintenance?
Results vary from man to man. Many men choose maintenance treatments every 6 to 12 months to keep the benefits going. A series of treatments early on may also provide a cumulative benefit.
Because XPand Restore works through your own tissue regeneration rather than a placed material, the effect builds gradually and then tapers over time as with any regenerative treatment. A maintenance treatment reinforces the result. Dr. Adajar discusses a realistic maintenance approach with you at consultation based on your response, rather than promising a fixed timeline.

Why Choose Dr. Adajar and XPand MD?
Dr. Marc Adajar, MD, FACS, is a board-certified surgeon who specializes exclusively in men. Every surgery he performs, every treatment he administers, and every optimization protocol he designs is for male patients. His practice spans male body contouring, sexual wellness, and total-body performance optimization through testosterone replacement therapy. He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and holds additional certifications in anti-aging medicine and male genital enhancement procedures, including penile filler injection (XPand Girth), platelet-rich plasma penile rejuvenation (XPand Restore), and scrotal neuromodulator therapy (XPand Smooth). He has been in practice for over 20 years and has received the Patients' Choice Award nine consecutive years.
Those credentials matter more for a regenerative genital treatment than almost anywhere else. The anatomy is unforgiving and the injection technique determines the result. A surgeon who understands penile vascular and soft-tissue layers, and who has trained specifically in these techniques, places the PRP where it can do the most good.
It also matters for a treatment whose results vary. A surgeon who tells you honestly what PRP can and cannot do is worth more than a clinic that promises an outcome the science does not support.
One surgeon, not a rotation. Dr. Adajar performs every XPand Restore treatment himself. You will not be handed off to a physician assistant or nurse injector. The same hands that evaluate you in the consultation are the ones doing your treatment.
Built exclusively for men. XPand MD is not a general aesthetics clinic that added a men's menu. Dr. Adajar treats only male patients, and the entire XPand system is designed around male physiology. Having all of the XPand services under one surgeon means your plan accounts for the full picture. If your goals point toward combining treatments, or if bloodwork suggests low testosterone is part of the issue, Dr. Adajar can address it instead of sending you to a separate provider.
Discretion is built into the process. The clinic is on the second floor of a River North medical building. There is no signage that identifies the procedure. Check-in, treatment, and checkout happen in a private suite.
The XPand Protocol: Function Is One Part of the Picture
You came here for XPand Restore. It is the regenerative piece, supporting sensation, tissue health, and function. But Dr. Adajar treats the full picture, and most men who look into one XPand treatment find there is more available to them than they realized.
The XPand Protocol is not a sequential program. It is a modular set of treatments, each targeting a different aspect of male function, aesthetics, and physical results. You choose what fits your goals. Some men do one treatment. Others combine two or three. Dr. Adajar performs all of them, so your plan does not get split across multiple providers.
XPand Girth
Penile filler that adds girth, not length, using FDA-approved hyaluronic acid. It is non-surgical and reversible, and it pairs well with XPand Restore when you want to address structure and tissue health together.
XPand Flow
A neuromodulator that relaxes the smooth muscle in the penile shaft, supporting improved blood flow and function. XPand Restore often works better when combined with XPand Flow, since one supports tissue regeneration and the other supports blood flow.
XPand Smooth
A neuromodulator applied to the scrotal tissue for a relaxed, smoother appearance and reduced discomfort. It is commonly called Scrotox. Cost is $1,800.
XPand Optimize
Testosterone replacement therapy and full hormone optimization. It addresses total-body performance, energy, libido, and composition from the inside out.
If you want to address function, sensation, and comfort together, XPand Flow, XPand Restore, and XPand Smooth are available as the XPand Performance Collection, a bundled package priced below the a la carte total.
Your consultation is the right time to ask about any of these. Dr. Adajar reviews your goals and health picture and tells you directly which treatments, if any, make sense to combine. Book a confidential consultation.
